Sweat

Updated: Jun 14, 2019

Thinking about my target audience i have decided to look into exercise.

18 to 44 year olds are the highest percentage of people who exercise.

30+ year olds dominate the sport of squash.

So I want to appeal to 18-30 year olds.

This age is the highest percentage of people who are looking to exercise for aesthetic reasons, with a partner or to attract a partner.

After speaking to Brian I was told to look into all the positives of sweat:

1.The Average person sweats 0.8 to 1.4 litres

2.Sweating has major health benefits.

3.Sweat wards off bacteria to protect the kidneys.

4.Cools down the body.

5.Detox Heavy Metals, such as mercury toxicity, arsenic, cadmium, and lead.

6.Promotes Healthier Skin.

7.Sweating through exercise increases circulation and strengthens the cardiovascular system.

8.Increases recovery time from illness, injury and muscle strain.

9.Lowers stress hormones.

10.Boost Sexual Drive and Attraction.

I liked the idea of the Sexual drive and attraction as this also would attract my target audience.

I found some sexual images and tried out some copy.

I was not sure if this worked.

I looked at some more photography. putting together some moodboards of images i liked to portray my tone of voice.

After speaking to Steve He recommended looking at the Haagen Dazs advert, who used sexual references combined with imagery to promote haagen dazs

I tried out some copy of my own that i may be able to use.

Looking into the problem of having nowhere to play i decided to look further into interactive labs and found that squash did something similar before.

I decided to look at data analysis in apps and watches etc.

The adidas lab tested speed and many other things. Could i test and measure the amount of sweat that someone loses by time and calories burned?

With TableTennisDaily we played against a Table Tennis robot where the robot tested and coached our skill. The robot learned from the player and showed the player their technique and how they could improve.

Adidas active is an interactive gym proposal to adidas to simulate arcade using fitness, could i have an interactive squash game that simulates some kind of game?
